Whitton v Ashford Photographic Competition

On  Monday 23rd September we had our first monthly competition of the year. It was also the now annual competition against Ashford Camera Club.

The results to that point were Ashford 2 wins, Whitton 1 win, so we were hoping to draw even.

The contest comprised 30 images from each club and they would be judged by Anne Healey, a very well qualified photographer and judge.

The scores ran neck and neck with many scores of 8 or above. Quite a few images were held. This means they were not given a score, but would be looked at again so the judge could have another look before awarding a mark.

The audience was on tenterhooks as the scores were given out, who had won?

The impossible happened it was a draw.

Oh well, we'll try again next year.
