Flash Photography

Hi Everyone,

It was great to have so many members in attendance last night for the evening on Flash Photography. 

I know one member thought the video was too long and another said it was very "basic". But I hope everyone got something out of the evening and that it will have encouraged us all to investigate further and experiment with the creative possibilities that using a Flash opens up to us.

MONDAY 4^th NOVEMBER - QUIZ NIGHT

Sue's friend Ken is returning as the quiz master to give a fun general knowledge quiz. There may be a few photography related questions.

It will be a great social evening where we will be split into teams and battle it out for the honour of being crowned the 2024 WPC Quiz Champions.

Please bring along some food nibbles and/or drinks to share with your team and help to get those grey brain cells working.

MONDAY 11th NOVEMBER - Review the Long Exposure project images, Look at any images taken using FLASH and look at images for possible inclusion in the 2025 Community Association Calendar.  AND set a new project subject.

Please send me up to 8 images that you would like to show to members and talk about at the meeting, that are either.

Please email them to me by 6pm on Monday 11^th November. Or alternatively bring them along to the meeting on a USB stick

MONDAY 18th NOVEMBER - Linda will be presenting a talk on her travels in Vietnam

Many members will recall that Linda did an excellent talk about her travels in Peru. It was extremely entertaining and informative and beautifully illustrated with lots of her great photos. This time Linda will deliver a talk in a similar style about her travels in Vietnam. Linda has put a lot of work into making the presentation, so please don't miss out and make every effort to come to the meeting. 

MONDAY 25^th NOVEMBER - 2^nd MONTHLY COMPETITION - Judge Roger Reynolds Hon FRPS

Roger is an excellent photographer and judge who has visited the club several times before. It is well worth having images critiqued by him.

Please submit your three PDI's and/or digital versions of prints, by 4pm on Monday 25^th November
