Any prospective member can attend two meetings before they need to pay for membership. This allows you time to see if you want to join.
Currently we charge £43.50 for half a year or £87.00 for a full year
We have to pay for the use of our meeting room, the costs of our exhibition, website and sundry refreshments.
Visiting judges charge travelling expenses visiting speakers charge a fee.
Any money left over is used to purchase or update our Club photography equipment.
We meet on Monday nights between 7.45 and 10.15pm
A range of activities take place from practical sessions to having a speaker give a talk.
A once monthly competition is held at Intermediate and Advanced levels.
A number of photography tasks are set during the year, so that we can compare each others efforts!
Christmas dinner is usually well attended
We also arrange a variety of photographic trips. These are often ad hoc with members suggesting a venue during our meetings.
While we encourage members to attend in person we also use ' Zoom' to allow some members who do not live locally.to take part.
